[RESOLVED] win2k hangs on reboot and restart ???HELP
WIN2000 will not shut down or restart it sits for 10 minutes before something happens.
I've reinstalled but to no avail.....

hey partner we need a little more info on your machine, all the usual HW stats, etc....

I found the problem. I have a netgear fa410tx
pcmcia NIC and if I pull it out it shut's down fine. I looked and I have the newest driver from the manufacturer. So I guess I'm stuck unless you have a suggestion.

there are always options
1. wait for a new driver
2. buy another card

Your Win98 boxes may not be able to the win2k box at all period due to NTFS. I'm not sure about this but I know for a fact win98 will not see NTFS..
