    Post WIndows 2k pro sp1 and sp2

    Is it necessary to install the windows2k pro sp1 before you install sp2?

    Nope, dont need to have sp1 installed to install sp2.

    But.. is it better to do that?? or doesnt it make a difference?

    Because if sp2 already has contents of sp1 then i wont waste time downloading sp1!

    From what I have heard in contains SP1 but as with NT4 if you are running a server I always do each service pack in turn just to be safe.
