 win2k + tnt2 ultra + AMD Tb + GA-7ZX mb
my system is describe din subj.
it freezes on cold startup with while detonator drivers 6.xx or greater is installed.
with 5.xx - D3D mode lags as hell - looks like it uses pagefile for agp memory.
does anyone know how to solve that startup problem? or how to make D3D working fine..
i tried SP1, tried several 4-in-1 VIA packs...tried also Dx8.0... nothing helped
it freezes only during cold start. if press reset - it loads normally. 8(

Have you updated your motherboard's BIOS to the latest version? There's an 11/24/00 version for your motherboard at http://www.giga-byte.com/support/viakt133.htm#link7zx.
Try flashing the BIOS and see if that helps...

Could it be an incorrect Graphics Aperture setting in the BIOS? Most boards are set to 64MB by default, try another setting.
