    Angry Default User Login

When I installed Win2K, I asked that my profile be the default profile loaded, which was working fine. last night, I installed Shutdown Now, didn't like it and uninstalled it. Now I find that the default logon is Administrator. Can anyone please advise where I go to to change the default back to my own profile. Any help appreciated.

Just click on Start/Shutdown, choose the "log off Administrator" option and click OK. In a moment the log on window will pop up and type in your regular log on name and password and log on. Now your system will default to that user name once again.

Tried that. I logged out as Administrator and logged in as myself. Restarted machine and default was Administrator. As it was greyed out, couldn't stop it. Any other possibilities. I thought there was an option in Control Panel which did this, but can't find it.

Create a user and then set it to default

I want to set my existing profile as default, but can't figure out where/how to do it.I don't see the point of creating another profile. Any other ideas please.

log in as user go to system and then to network identification/ network id and you have the option there of setting to always assume the user is the one using the computer and it will auto login.
