    Resolved [RESOLVED] yahhhh SMC card with W2K

    w2k reconize my SMC card with my VIA motherboard but not reconize it with my ASUS motherboard.
    my SMC is ethercard elite 16 ultra ISA...

    BIOS issue on the ASUS perhaps? Check and see if there are any funny resource-allocations going on in the BIOS - sometimes the BIOS will let you allocate IRQ's/DMA's to PCI only.

    Or maybe just a bad ISA slot on that MOBO? Try another ISA card in it, see if it get's recognized.
