WIN2K and SOHO Plug and Print
I purchased a Sohoware Plug and Print print server a few days ago to use on my small home network. I have 3 machines on the network, 2 with Win 98 SE and 1 with Win2K. The Plug and Print server is very easy to install. www.sohoware.com and search for plug to see the specs on it.
The 2 Win98 machines see the print server just fine and work great with it, but the Win2k machine sees the server port, but can not complete the port scan to determine the settings. So I can not get the Win2K computer to work with it. I have all of the computers hooked up to a Linksys autosencing 10/100 8 port switch. And I use a Cisco 675 enternal router/DSL modem for the internet. All computers can get to the internet and can see each other. I did a large file transfer from a Win98 machine to the Win2k computer and vise versa, and all seemed to go fine.
Is there something I am missing with setting up something like a new port for Win2k?
Any help will be appreciated
Thanks!

Sounds like you need to install the driver (and additional port) for W2k. Hope this helps.
