Command prompt User Settings
We've recently started to introduce a few win 2000 systems to our peer-to peer network in the office (Primarily Win98SE amchines.) We're able to get the Win2k machines to share their resources if we create users for each person who wants them. No problemo except for when people want to access the resources and we don't have a user file created for them.
We've got telnet server to start so we can telnet on to their server to run some CL maintenance tasks from across the building; and were wondeirng if there was a built in command, or add-on that allows the creation/administering of user accounts from the command line.
Thanks in advance.

here is the URL for using the net user functions at the command prompt that will allow you to manage users remotely.
http://support.microsoft.com/support...CH&SPR=WIN2000
also I would suggest that you get the Win2K Resource Kit, has alot of good stuff in there.
Let me know if this helps.
