NT Server to Win2k Pro with Raid
Has anyone upgraded from NT server 4.0 to win2k on a netfinity with a raid conroller and volumes. I will back everything up, but was hoping I wouldn't have to restore. technically you are not supposed to be able to that, but for this client, Win2k pro is a better choice.
I have a c partition that is fat32 2 GB. Then 4 drives in a raid (45 GB) as a volume M drive.
I would love to blank the C and install win2k pro. Any advice? There was a utility at MS that supposedly wrote out the volume info to a text file, but I can't seem to find it. . .
Any insight would be helpful. . .
