Outlook Format

All of a sudden out of the blue Outlook is formatting my replies in HTML. It is still doing it even after I went into Options and changed everything to Plain Text. I still have all this formatting crap. Please help, as I can't reply to my frigging emails!

Hal,

Is this when you are replying to messages or all the time, even with newly created messages?

In Options | Mail Format | Internet Format you can specify that the format be converted to HTML format when "Sending Outlook rich text messages to Internet recipients".

You can also specify that the format be plain text or rtf too.

Don't know if this helps at all. Let us know how it goes.

Hi. This happens whether replying or a new message. It's weird, the formatting is screwed up when I write the message, but once it's sent and I look at it in the Sent folder, the formatting is normal. Changing the option you suggested did not correct the problem.
