2 passwords

I am haveing problems loging into one of my servers when the log in prompt shows up it will let me enter in the password and username and then it starts to show the drive that are getting mapped and then asks for another password and any password that we use dose not work. Its Windows 2000, and the latest client and its Netware 4.x

Is this the only computer that is exhibiting this behaviour? If so, try reinstalling the client software.

If this happens when a certain person logs in, then there may be something wrong with the user account (bad login script?)

When the second login dialog appears, press the advanced button and see what server/tree/context you are logging in to. Is it correct?

I suspect the second password is the Windows 2000 local account password, because the Novell password or account name does not match the Win2k account name and password.

I suggest logging in as Admin on the Win2k PC and setting up an account with same details as the Novell Network Login and password.

This will avoid it prompting for two passwords, and when a password change occurs on the Novell account later on, it will automatically prompt you to change the Win2k one at the same time. In other words to sync passwords.
