    Post SMP Abends and Bus Mastering

    HELP!!! My HP Netserver is Abending on NW 4.11:

    It is a SMP Page Fault Exception and all PCI slots are Bus Mastered. It is an HP NetServer LX Pro w/512MB and Dual PPro 200's - according to Novell TID 2926717 I should remove the NIC from Busmastering, how do I do this? Is it a card setting, new card requirement, or what?

    Off hand, I can think of the following possibilities:

    1. It is configured in LOAD INSTALL in Netware
    2. There is a disable switch in the CMOS setup of the computer
    3. There is a utility you download from the NIC mfgr to configure settings on the card.

    I'll be able to help you more when I get into the office tomorrow morning, as I can look at my server there and get ideas.
