little problem with GWIA
Another stumper for you guys.
every 20 minutes or so i have to restart gwia so that the incoming emails will come in. Outgoing works just fine so it might be something with the smtp setting but i have not change them i about 4 months or more. this problem start yesterday after the dsl was reactivated. any help is welcomed if need more info just ask.

Make sure your DSL is on a static IP. If it's not, make sure you raise a big fuss at your ISP! They may have changed something when it went down. Also make sure the static IP is the same as before.
If you haven't bounced (rebooted) your server in a while, you may want to try that. I was having a similar problem with GWIA that went away after I bounced the server.

yes Sir same Static IP and the server would put a basketball team to shame with all the bouncing that i have done with it.

OK, let's check this: go to the directory on the server where GWIA does it's thing. On mine it's \\servername\SYS\GRPWISE\domain\WPGATE\GWIA\Receiv e and see if there are any incoming messages accumulating in there. If so, GWIA is successfully receiving incoming messages, but for some reason is not forwarding those through the rest of the GroupWise system. You may also want to turn on verbose logging in the GWIA console screen, it helps me sometimes when something isn't working right.
