    Question Create Netware Partion

    i have 2 9GB hard disks

one has 4GB of free space on it with 4GB for the Netware Partition and it is also my SYS volume.

i would like to use the free space for file storage and add it to my VOL1 volume

i have looked under the install option, do not want to muck about in here

can anyone tell me if this is possible to do and how to do it

    thanks

    Try this link: http://support.novell.com/cgi-bin/se...er.cgi?1000173

I would heed the warning in the TID, though. If you span VOL1 across two physical devices, and one of the devices craps out, you lose everything on both drives. Better off to increase the volume size on SYS, or get a bigger HD for VOL1. Or add another drive and create a VOL2.

BTW, I noticed you're asking lots of questions. That's cool, but I encourage you to check out Novell's Knowledgebase which IMHO is one of the best out there. Solves a lot of my problems and I have learned tons from it.
