Backup Exec 7.5 for Netware
Okay let me start off by saying I know very little about Novell. We have a 4.11 server running backup exec 7.5 and I can't figure out how to bring up the job manager. The documentation says the bestart command does this but I do not see it. Everything is loaded and I even get a screensaver on the server that says backup exec for netware but I do not know how to view the job manager.
I need to verify that the thibng is even backing up.
TIA

bestart is an NCF file (basically a Netware BAT file) that loads up all the modules needed by the backup software. Running it again isn't going to do anything. Can you press CTRL-ESC at the server console to get a list of screens? Perhaps the backup monitor is already loaded.
PS, there is probably a bestop.ncf file as well that you can use to shut down the backup software.

I pretty much knew it was loaded but did not know how to bring up the job monitor or what keys to cycle through screens.
CTRL-ESC does it!
