I don't think there should be a problem, our server at work has 4 SCSI hard disks and one IDE CD-ROM, which all run at the same time without any problems. You will need to get the right drivers and load them correctly.
However, I would use the IDE disks for things which do not require a lot of speed, since the SCSI disks will be way faster. For example: The one CD-ROM we have in our server is shared and when it is in use, the server load goes through the roof. Stay with all SCSI if you can.
