Pretty damn hard if you don't know the user name. I posted this link to a password defeating utility a while back:
ftp://ftp.nsk.su/.3/networks/novell/setpwd.zip
(you must know the name of the account for this to work. At my company for example, we have changed the name of the previous "Supervisor" and "Admin" accounts to different names to deliberately thwart this type of hack)
For possible admin account names, try SUPER, SUPERVISOR, or ADMIN.
There are lots of other possibilities out there, try searching for NETWARE PASSWORD CRACK on any decent search engine. Good Luck.

You can also contact Novell Tech support and they can crack it. Had this happen before but it was a long time ago and can't remember what we did.

You contact Novell Support and they fax you a disclosure agreement and e-mail you an NLM to use on the server. When you run it, you need to call them and read the code displayed on the screen. They read back to you the response and it then asks you for an Admin name and password. It'll cost you the price of an incident to Novell support though.. Not cheap. =o)
