PCMCIA Not Found
I've got a generic laptop that can't seem to keep/find the PCMCIA Ports. It's running Windows 98 (not SE), and everything else works perfectly.
Has anyone seen this before, and can it be fixed without replacing the mb?
Thanks

I don't think it would be the motherboard. Do you have any info on what kind of laptop it is?

The motherboard is by Pro-Star...their website is www.pro-star.com, and they have not yet responded to my emails.

Run the PCMCIA initilization wizard by double-clicking on the PCMCIA icon in control panel - after you run the wizard your PCMCIA slots should be available to use.
