    Resolved [RESOLVED] Adaptec wont locate rewriter

    When I try to use adaptec easy creator it will not locate or find my Hp 9500 writer. I'm running WinMe. My Hp CD-Writer software works but I prefer not to use it. The CD-R is installed and works just fine. What do I need to do to get Adaptec to work?

    Probably wait for Adaptec (Roxio Software) to add recorder support for your burner...

    This is from Roxie's page support for cdr/w Your HP CD-Writer Plus 9500 is supported by the following Roxio Software

    The software version shown is usually the first version in which this model of recorder was (or will be) supported. The recorder is always supported in later versions, unless otherwise noted.

    Software Supported Version
    DirectCD Win 3.01d
    Easy CD Creator 4.03

    If you have this ver. then try re installing it
