Fujitsu laptop
I have a Fujitsu 735DX laptop that my aunt gave to me, basically to see if I could fix it. She thinks it was hit by lightning, which I told her, would not be covered under warranty. She did not want to spend any money on it, and bought a new PC. So now I have this laptop that does nothing, and I was just wondering if anyone knew of a place where a guy could get parts for these (other than Fujitsu?), or an idea of what it would cost to fix it? From the sticker on the bottom, I believe its a P133, 1.6GB, 16MB RAM, 12.1 in. screen. It's not much, so I don't want to put a lot into it. But on the other hand, if the parts aren't TOO expensive, it might be worth keeping.

if the laptop was in fact struck by lightning it probably is not worth fixing.

What's wrong with it? It's dead, won't boot at all. I don't really think it's worth it to put any $$$ into it, but I just thought it would be an interesting project.

If its dead...don't bother, probably a main board replacement. Usually between $500-$1500
