DVD bad block error
When I try to load any program from my Pioneer DVD 500M, the program fails to load. When I look in the event viewer under the system tab, I
see the following error message:-
The device, \DeviceCDRom0, has a bad block
My machine spec is as follows:-
A7M266-D (AMD 760MPX) motherboard
Dual AMD 1800MP CPUs
Asus Geforce4 8460 Ultra
Pioneer DVD 500M
768Mb 2100DDR
Audigy Sound Card
Windows XP Pro
I have installed the latest chipset drivers as told to do by Asus tech support, without any joy.
Any help would be gratefull
