Need help installing RAS (Remote Access Services) on ME?
I need to install RAS on a laptop for one of my users and I am unsure of how to go about doing it. The server is already setup to allow dialing in, and I have the phone number to dial. I thought I installed RAS via Dial-up Networking but nothing is listed or remotely looks like a RAS style setup.
Any help would be appreciated.

A little clarification please. Are you tring to setup the RAS server on Windows ME? or tring to connect to the RAS server with Windows ME. If you are trying to connect to a RAS server, Dial-up networking is all you need. Just creat a new connection. RAS is basically the Windows NT version of Dial-up networking.

Are you talking about just making a new dial up or internet connection, [control panel/dial up networking/make new connection] or [control panel/internet options/connections tab/setup]
or...
are you trying to enable Remote Administration, [control panel/passwords/remote admin tab]?

I'm setting up the client side of it all. RAS server is already setup on the server side. I can get the dial-up connection to work now, but I can't seem to get any of the network drives (i.e. Personal Home directory, and required network directory to appear). I get "cannot search network" error message.
