Infrared Port
I have a Dell Latitude with an infrared port which worked fine with Win98SE. Now I have Win Me I can't get any communications. In the system properties there is an SMCC infrared device listed and if I add new hardware and specify generic infrared serial port, I get a virtual serial and a virtual plt port listed. However, I do not ever get the wireless link control panel nor a systen tray icon when a device is nearby. Anybody have a complete procedure for getting the infrared to work with ME?
