[RESOLVED] My disc ammount display, displays the wrong ammount of disk space
On My computer, when I enter C:, the graphic on the side says I have 2 gigs left but when I manually select all files and look at the ammount of free space, there is less a gig left. Is there a way to solve this problem?

Run scandisk, it tells exactly how much free space is left, and other information about your disk.

Delete all files and directories in windows\temp folder, and windows\recent folder.
Next, assuming you have IE5, open contrl panel, select Internet Options and click delete now in temporary files and history.
Close everything and open windows\temporary internet files folder. There you will see a bunch of cookies. Delete all of them. If you log on some internet sites with passwords you will be prompted to enter your pasword next time you log on after you deleted the cookies.
Now run scandisk. What do you see?
