    Post CD-RW Firmware info in XP

    Hi! i'm using Windows XP Home and I wanted to check the Firmware version of my CD-RW drive. I have looked in Devixe Manager at the propeties of the drive but it dosn't mention anywhere the Firmware version for the drive.

    Is there any other way I can find out the firmware version. The drive I have is a Samsung SW-216B.

    Not the easiest thing in the world to find, however, once you know....

    OK right click my computer, management

    Click on removeable storage to expand the tree, click on libraries to expand that tree... now
    right click on the cdrw in libraries and choose properties from there and the click on the device information tab. The revision should be your firmware release.

    Thanks for that I acually had a look at Computer Management but I looked under Disk Management.
