[RESOLVED] Yamaha CRW4416S errors
Hi i own a crw4416s cd rw and when it is formatting i aways get errors. So far ive screwed up 12 cds. It also won't read normal cd's. Please help!!!!

Did it ever work right. If not, return it for a new drive, if its still under warranty.

There are a few things that can account for this. First how fast your hard drive is. If you hard drive doesnt keep up with the buffer on the cdr it won't work right. Next you have a good amount of ram i find to actually keep things in order. Secondly check your jumpers and make sure you have it on slave or cable select and on the right cord setting.

If it's still under Warranty, I'd suggest you to RMA it ASAP!
I've seen similar problems with Yamaha CD-RWs and this was the only solution.
