Windows backup in ME
Can't find the goold old Windows backup when using ME. Not an option under Add/Remove Programs. Any thoughts, anyone??

Found it at MS Knowledge base. Apparently it is not included on setup, but you can run a file which installs it. All can be revealed at: http://support.microsoft.com/support.../Q264/5/41.ASP

you can always use the backup utillity from the win98 cdrom

When I upgraded to ME from 98, I used MSBackup to backup everything. Installed ME and was floored that there was not install for the Backup!! <IMG SRC="smilies/confused.gif" border="0">
It is on the CD though, just not in the setup. Put in the WindowsME CD and browse, goto the X:\ADD_ONS\MSBACKUP directory and execute the MSBEXP.EXE program. Wham! You've got MSBackup installed again! <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
