    Post shutdown error

    Hi all
    Just got a DSL connection installed the modem from my ISP now i get the realy anoying shutdown error that everyone gets with this modem and Win Me...In stall Win 98 and the error dissapears does anybody know if there is a patch for this error that is plauging the local community the ISP's answer is to reinstall ME, since i have tried that on several computers and it doesnt work and all other USB devices work without a glitch i wont bother BTW the engineer from the isp couldnt tell the difference between ME and 98 HELP!! the only way to shut down is use the power switch

    win me on a PIII 550 128 MB pc133 ram 50gig HDD 32 mb video and a poxy speedstream 4060 usb type dsl modem
