IE 6 conflicting with McAfee?
I was running IE 6 without any problems but now that I got around to installing my virus scanner (McAfee 5.12) there is an error that WebscanX.exe has generated errors. I uninstalled and reinstalled about three times until I thought to myself that IE 6 may not be compatible with that part of their program. Any idea if that is the case or how to uninstall IE 6 to check it out?

go to control panel/ add remove programs and see if IE 6 is listed. You should be able to revert back to your previous version of IE.
You can always disable the webscan from loading and see if that solves the problem.

IE 6 wasn't listed. I was trying to get webscan to work. I didn't get the error when I wasn't trying to use it. Unfortunately, none of the internet modules would work (e-mail scan, download scan, etc.). I tried IEradicator and wiped my system out so I reformatted and reinstalled...
