Insufficient memory messages, can't save/print etc.
Hello, anytime i try to save my documents in word or excel or any other program, or try to print something, windows gives me "insufficient memory" messages, could someone please tell me if this is a virus? or is it something else that i can fix? plmk!

I know from a few jobs last week that the NIMDA virus can cause this. You can read up on viruses and download fix files from Symantec's website here.

wow, i did what the third post on this said, and i searched for riched20.dll......and it's gone.......i only have riched32.dll and riched.dll...could someone PLEASE help me?!?!

That's evidence that indeed you've been hit with a virus. Make sure you've cleaned your system. (get what you need from the Symantec link I posted earlier) and then you can restore that file by running SFC on your system.

Hey, thanks, but what is SFC, and how do i use it? please give me step by step things, i'm not good with viruses, thanks.

go to the link above and download and run the removal tool for Nimda.
then after you have done that you should clik the Start button...clik on Run and then type in SFC and hit the enter key.
you should clik on 'Extract one file from installation disk'...type in RICHED20.DLL..clik Start and browse to where your Windows installation files are...on most hard drives they are at c:\windows\options\cabs...if they are not there you will need to point to your win98 directory on your CD.

aw shucks...sometimes i get lucky...sowulo was the first to suggest a virus.
