Post Any problems with linksys hubs?

I'm about to order some linksys Stackpro II hubs for a couple of my closets. Has anyone used these before? I really dont have the budget for anything else, but I wanted to check and see if anyone has used these, and what their thoughts were on them

    Thanks

I have 2 Linksys switches at work, DSSX24. At my old work place we had a couple Linksys switches, too. I have had one die which Linksys crossshipped me a new one no questions asked but other than that no problems. I have been told they are unreliable but than again, people tell me AMD is unreliable and I haven't really seen proof of that either.

We use a couple of their switches, and the only problems we had was that a couple of the cheap no-name cards would intermittently lose the network. We just bought a couple of cheap name-brand cards and it took right off. Linksys has been good to us in performance and cost.

By the way, you might want to look into a switch rather than a hub, last I checked the switches were not that much more expensive.

    Just a thought. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

    Thanks for all the input!!

I am using a few different network cards. The majority of them are linksys, with some 3com and a few d-link.

Cost is a factor here and I need something that is stackable. That is why I am going with the hubs, I dont think linksys makes a stackable switch.

Thanks for all the input so far.
