cisco pix 5.15 firewall.... whats your opinion
hey every one , i was going to setup a small vpn and the cisco pix 5.15 firewall was recomeded by the hardware company getting the hardware for us. i was wondering whats every ones opinion on the firewall. Security is a concern due to the confidential information that will be stored on the network. Whats the best firewall out there?

Pix is Nice..
But if you can Implement Back2Back Firewall it would be far better.

Pix is for kids.
Checkpoint FW1 is what the pros use. It's very easy to configure. Very flexible with many features: VPN, bandwidth control, remote policy deployment, easy remote administration. runs on IPSO, solaris, nt, 2k, linux 2.2.x, aix. solaris is the most popular os to run checkpoint fw-1. we can set you up with a demo. 30 days eval. After that, you gota buy or find a c$$$$K.
