Have a client that has just had a T1 installed. They are running NT Server4 SP6a, MS Proxy 2.0 SP1. The T1 Line has a Cisco Router and an 8 port Cisco Mini Hub 10/100. The client's LAN uses a Netgear 16 port Hub 10/100. The server has dual NICs. How do I connect the Server to the T1 line? With a crossover cable? PAtch cable? I can ping the LAN's internal IP's, but nothing outside . . . HELP !

crossover for HUB/SWITCH to HUB/SWITCH
straight-through for PC to HUB/SWITCH
or if you have an uplink port you set only one side HUB-port to 'uplink' and use a straight-cable for HUB to HUB.
If you have further network question we're in need of a diagram or else (detailed description) that shows, where your problem might be

YOu should connect the router to the cisco switch - use the uplink port, set on port to uplink, or use a crossover cable, then when connected you should be able to see the world.
However you will need to set up a firewall between your router and LAN.
