Win98 Security
How can I modify the registry in Win98 and Win98SE to mimmick WinNT/2000 login security?
I like the security afforded by NT/2000 preventing users from pressing the Escape key or selecting cancel, and, when the network is down will only let previous users get local access via cached settings/password.
I can turn-off the escape key and cancel button but do not know how to setup the caching.

Windows 98 can never have the same security as WinNT/2k ..
but you can use Poledit (install from win98 d) and use a local policy or use a policy on the domain controller...
ther's a p[olicy that will require a USer to Logon to the network to gain access to his pc..
