I installed a 2x 6x CDR mitsumi and the software that was supplied with it by Hi Val
no good. Where can I get a copy of adaptec cdr recording.

Depending on what you are trying to copy, I would try a program called nero. You can download it from ahead.com

This program does it all. I was never able to get adaptec to work properly. Another one to try is cdrwin.
