Utility to download a website.
I couldn't quite decide what category this would fall under in the forums. So I dumped it in networking. <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">
I'm looking for a utility to download a web site that I think will be coming off line soon. I would like something simple, if there is such a thing.
Thanks!

If you have FrontPage 2000 you can use the import command on the file menu. This might work with other versions of FrontPage as well.

Never tried this myself but I've heard of it. It's called Teleport Pro and can be found here

I use a program called "Black Widow" that works wonderfully. It will download everything on a website. You can scan a website and get a list of all the files that are on it, then download only what you need. This works great for those pseudo-FTP sites that have tons of files but they're not setup through an FTP server. IT was a cinch to get setup and it's very simple to use.
There is one odd little thing about it though, if you decide to get it. If it is scanning a website and you abort, or get disconnected or anything, you HAVE to save it and exit the program before you try to scan again. Otherwise, the program will think that it has scanned everything on the site already, and you won't be able to pick up anything else from the site.

Sam Spade appear to be able to do this (Tools --> Crawl Website)
It can also search websites looking for URLs or e-mail addresses.
