    Unhappy Home networking problem

I have tried to set up home network using Win XP on the host and Win 98 on the client. The host can see the client in 'View Workgroup Computers', however when I click on the client I get an error stating client unaccesible, network path not found. Also the client cannot see the host in Network Neighbourhood. However ICS is working fine.

Was a domain or a common workgroup defined on both machines?

What you need to do on the XP system is go to the control panel and enter the Users and passwords app. Then select the Guest account and enable it. This will allow any computer on your network that logs on to be able to access your XP system resources and vice versa.
