We're opening a new branch. I've configured and installed a 1602 R Cisco Router with a 56/64 CSU/DSU WIC. The new branch's computers are communicating with the main branch and vice versa. The way the internet is set up is that the other branches send their internet requests to the main branch and it forwards the request out to the internet. However the new branch won't connect to the internet. From the router I can ping and traceroute to the DNS router/server at the telco, but when I try the same thing from the computer, it times out. The computer sends the packet to the E0 port, the router forwards it to the S1 port, and then nothing happens. The router sends the packet out the S1 port and on to another IP address--which I assume is the main branch external IP address.
Anyone have any theories or ideas to get the new branch to work? Thanks.
