Post Win2k to AP out to clients - Confusing

Hmmmm... I am very confused right now. Has anyone tried to construct a network where it goes from the cable modem, to a win2k box, out (with another card) to a Linksys Access Point, then the AP inturn gives out DHCP addy's to every client. Has anyone gotten this to work with a domain? My win2k box is a domain controller and everything seems to be setup correctly. I can recieve internet on all the machines but I would like them to be part of the domain. How do I do this? They won't see the domain. Thanks for any help because I know this confused me so I thank anyone who can understand my problem.

What OS are the client machines? Can the client machines see each other? Is the DC's IP address static? Make sure it's on the same subnet as the client machines. Can the clients ping the DC?

If you can ping the DC, make sure the client is set to logon to Domain and that you have a user account setup on the DC. Have you tried logging in as administrator?

The client machines are all running winxp pro. I can ping all the other client machines. The DC's IP is not static. The DC is on the subnet 255.255.255.0 and the client machines are on the subnet 255.0.0.0 but the problem is if I try to set the client machines on the same subnet as the DC, they don't get internet and inturn they cannot see the domain. I can ping the DC from all the clients. Whenever I try to see the domain I get DNS name does not exist. My domain is called testing.local because I don't want the domain conflicting with the internet. Anymore suggestions? Thanks.

ok staticize yr DC then go into the linksys setup on the AP and change the dhcp and subnet to reflect your staticized DC (ie 255.255.255.0) or do y mean that changing the subnet that the AP resides results in network and internet connectivity issues??
