Question WHYerless Web...

Does anyone here have/use wireless web on ther mobile devices?

I recently upgraded my Sprint PCS plan $59.99 and this packaged includes..

500 anytime anywhere minutes.
2500 off peak minutes.
off peak = Monday thru Friday 8:00pm to 7:00am and all hours of Saturday and Sunday.
Plus, all the bell's and whisles... I have wireless web access and the minutes come off my 500 minutes.

Anyhoo, the deal seems pretty good. My question is, what do you use wireless web for? I'm surely not going to type emails with my phone number pad, that would take forever... I cannot access any sites with this f**ker . What's the freakin deal ?

What do you all use wireless web for?

Why even torture yourself using that WAP garbage. It's slow, and impossible to navigate. The best implementation I've seen has been on a PalmVII, and that sucked too. I would stay away from WAP until we get some Japanese type features on our phones and cell networks.

true, true

It was included in my new package so I thought I'd give it a try.

I have the Wireless Web on my Sprint phone, and the only thing I use it for is weather updates, and sports scores. And to get movie times when I'm out with friends and we decide to go see a flick! That's the only useful stuff you can get!
