    Post Workies

As you guys may already know, i'm being taken advantage of at work, by them calling me when they need me, no set schedule, etc. etc., While YES i am only a part-time student, nobody deserves to be a "Call in when we need you" kid, especially when im depending on the paychecks for school and everything like that. Today I left work early because I have a meeting at another place ... should I take the new job and dump the old ? or whut? i mean the employee discount on buying **** is nice... but thats about it

Well, how much are u buying at that place anyways ?
So it this employee discount more improtant than regular hours and regular pay ?

And youre right, NOBODY should be treated on a "Call as u need" base, unless u make it your business and start charging accordingly. Look around at the prices charged by tech on an "on call" basis (in Montreal, it range from $45/h simple reparis to $200/h for net specialists).

    Do the math.

    Good luck, u deserve better.

I say go for it... what have you got to lose? Just make sure you don't get hired by Nortel or JDS Uniphase

Employee discount doesn't put food on the table.

If you don't mind me asking, are there any other reasons why you're hesitant about quitting this job?
