    Post MotoGP

World Superbikes makes AMA look like Amateurs even if the Bostrom brothers and Anthony Gobert are pretty good riders...but the bikes are a little bit better in the international series.

However the MotoGP riders make World Superbikes look like an Amateur sport...and this year it's better.

The top riders are now riding 1000cc, 220hp, 4 stroke prototype motorcycles with even more insane acceleration than the 2 stroke 500cc bikes had. So far in pre season testing, Valentino Rossi has gone as much as 3 seconds a lap quicker this year on the new V5 Honda RCV211 than last year on his winning 2 stroke.

Edit: It's really a shame that the US can't get a round of international racing because of the safety regulations.
I guess the injuries and deaths on concrete walls are a bit much for riders to handle.
You'd think there'd be at least one track up to international standards in the US, wouldn't you?
To prove something, one must first try to disprove it.

    Ar!

This of course is the Aprilia RS3 ridden by Regis Laconi in it's first year as a race bike.

The first race at Suzuka rocked with a tight battle between the Japanese home riders and the top riders from past seasons...in the rain...

    All good!

I really think that after suzuka, the two strokes are a thing of the past...the four strokes killed them...and as for Rossi......well isn't he just the champion.....he really is the best.......it was one of the best races I have seen especially in such bad conditions..
what a team Ferrari Schumacher for formula one and Rossi for motoGP....

Only 2.2 seconds separates the qualifiers for Le Mans, the closest qualifying in MotoGP history. The main race starts in just under 2 hours....

Love most motorsports, especially those involving less than 4 wheels. Problem is, MotoGP is on Channel 5 over here (which about half the population can ctually receive) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />
