Well, I collected X-men and many Spidey's. I still have most of them, including all McFarlane's run of Amazing and most of Incredible Hulk. I stopped shortly after the Inferno crossover and haven't picked up another comic since. They got way too expensive. How much are they now $3US an issue?

I started collecting when I was in the Air Force and built up five huge comic book boxes worth. I collected X-Men (the best), Wolvervine (the best), I collected alot of Image comics too... Youngblood, WildCATS, ShadowHawk, Spawn(the best) and alot I cant remember the names of. I estimated the value for all of them at $3000 and I sold them all for $1500 about three years ago.

I have four long boxes of comics, bagged and boarded.

My favorites were X-Men, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Spawn, and The Maxx. Bone was cool, and some of the Dark Horse Aliens/Predator mags were always a good read.

I have a couple original comic are pages (a Punisher and a What If?!?).

I guess my best book (assuming it wasn't thrown out when I moved) was Iron Fist #14, the first appearance of SabreTooth.
Ahh, I have that one, and also Secret Wars #8, Solid Cobra should know what is sginifcant abou that issue...

Yep, it was the one where Captian America caught Iron Man and Thor in a threesome with She-Hulk, bringing a new meaning to the phrase "Avengers Assemble".

And it was also the one where Spidey picked up the alien symbiote costume.

My most valuable comic book was Giant-sized X-Men #1, the debut of the "new" X-Men team, with Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, etc. I inherited (read: stole) it from my brother, and I think it's in the attic at mom and dad's house, assuming mom hasn't thrown it away.

Ok speaking of the Secret Wars....is that the one where just about every character shows up??

I have an issue where Spidey is spying on the Xmen...they catch him spying and try to snag him and Spidey is just wayyy too fast.
In what solved an argument between my nephew and myself ( he said the xmen could kick Spidey's @ss and I said otherwise) I believe Wolverine stated they were lucky that Spidey was on their side cause he could have whipped them good ( or something to that effect).
Now...was that The Secret Wars?
I would check myself but that comic is sitting about 2462 miles away.

Favourite characters:
Spiderman
Iron Man
Warlock (from the New Mutants)

Favourite comic series
Todd McFarlane's Spiderman series
The Hulk's grey era
Anything Batman

Favourite comic novels
The Watchmen
Violent Cases
V for Vendetta
The Dark Knight Returns

I *used* to own the entire first run of New Mutants from start to #50.

My pride and joy was the complete mini-series of the Aliens VS Predator by Dark Horse. I had #1 to #4 and my wife to be managed to find #0 (black and white). I still wish a movie had ben made from these..

To me, the best of all times are made by Disney. The ducks (Donald, Mickey, Pluto, Goofy etc.) where my favourite.

That's the one.

I used to get that (because of Spidey) and still have the toys that were released here in the UK at the same time.

You have to admit that it was a stroke of genius to give Spidey a makeover with the new costume, get people thinking that the old red&blue was gone, then suddenly twist the plot completely ... or maybe they realised they'd f@cked up big time and just wanted him back to normal! Who knows!

Can't wait for the new Spiderman film - it looks pretty good!

Giant sized X-Men #1!!! I want, I want!!! the x-men franchise is my all time favorite. 2nd is transformers followed by spidey and batman. my favorite single comic was the Spiderman/Wolervine graphic novel. it was great, wolvie beating on spidey, then wolvie and spidey beating on everyone else. most expensive would be Incredible Hulk #180 (first wolverine)
