Post New Job...the ups and the downside of it

Hey guys, my new job is kinda boring! LoL, i started working as a cable modem installer on tuesday, and its pretty quiet, right now i do a lot of sales, asking people if they want to try the "net" on cable for 2 months, if they say yes, we set em up that day! which is pretty cool. pay is well, its cool to be yer "own boss" i LOATHE the amounts of paperwork required to get online with cogeco@home. 6 pages, 2 pieces of ID required... etc.

    Thumbs up

Hey, if yer were working for Rogers your job wouldn't be very boring. You'd be extremely busy going to the homes of dissatisfied customers (forget phone support) and actually risking the threat of physical violence.

You are fortunate to have a job, and more fortunate to be working for a great ISP. If I lived in an area served by Cogeco, I'd sign up in a heartbeat. Congrats on your new job!

Enjoy it while your ignorance of the "downside" of things is still high...

Congrats on the new job, I just hope that the problem that @home is having financially doesn't screw up your job. You forgot another bonus, free cable modem service. (at least its like that here in Tn with Charter.net. If you sell it you get free service.
