I really haven't been gone. It's just been busy. No time to post. Heck, no time for lunch most of the time.

I'd invent a super-cheap/super-fast fiberoptic line. Home and business PC's would just consist of a monitor, keyboard and mouse hooked to the line. All hardware would be run off supercomputers elsewhere.

How 'bout a mouse and or keyboard that would shock the (l)user when they try to change system settings or delete the damn pesky DLL files that take up all that hard drive space!

A helmet integrated with a PC that would move cursor to the place you thought of, type whatever you say in your mind, browse using same technique. I guess I want to get rid of leashes (KB, and the rat) and sit further from the screen than 2 feet.

A "radio" modem-addon that plugs into a conventional analogue modem so I randomly use all the bandwidth in the air seeping from power lines and radio frequencies to "dial-into" my ISP while I am travelling and/or in a place without a regular phone line.

I know this is wildly fantastic..but I can see its applicability...

    For something more serious:

An ambiant light powered notebook/PC...unless there is total darkness...no need to worry about batteries or ac adaptors again...

An intelligent power switch that refuses to boot the machine for anyone less intelligent than it is.
