    Question Starchoice - Opinions???

Hi all! Got an offer yesterday to have the Starchoice tv satellite system installed. Free satellite with free installation. My monthly fee would basically be the same as my present cable fee. Only other charge is $99 (one time charge) for the receiver unit. All with lifetime guarantee. I would be getting 3 times the number of channels I'm now getting for the same price as cable with the advantage of Digital picture quality. What do you all think? Anyone else have this? Pros & Cons? Thanks!

Recently went to satellite vs cable. Same deal, three times the channels for the same price, better quality. Make sure to get some sort of parts and service warrenty with that. Just in case something goes wrong.

My wife won a Bell ExpressVu dish (DirecTV) last year and we've been happy with it for the most part.

    2 issues:
    • Snow can block out or garble the signal if it accumulates in the dish.
    • Packages offered are great, but if you want to add movies you'll probably end up spending about 50% more.

What I really like is the ability to watch a show according to my schedule, as the same episode can air at all possible times in the same evening.

I'd say stick wth cable - you can get osme good deals with cable TV / modem packages (if you want to go that way) abd being in the wireless phone industry, I know how erratic somthing like that can be.

well as far as satatalite unless you have more reciever you'll only be able to connect it to one tv and as for cable you can connect to multiple tv's.

also if you have at&t phone company IM me and i'll tell you how to get free cable from them .

    peace out dawgs.
