Called off work WHoooo Hoooo ...Warning..Ranting here
I DID IT !!
I called off work today Whoo Hooo. I was supposed to be in at 6:00am and the asst manager was due in at 7:00am.
Well I call the place I should be and I called the main store and told the manager there. I wont be in !!!(Its a gas station separated from a main store)
Clock hit 7:10 and here she comes ringing my phone. Oopps the answering machine picked it up.
"Cindy I was calling to see if your coming into work today?" Thinking to myself DUH!!!!! Thats why I called in and said I WAS NOT coming into work today.
She is not supposed to call my house after I already called off work.
I found out yesterday that I will not be getting a raised they said I would,because in our contract I am maxed out. Which means im stuck at this pay rate till the Sept 2002.I would post what I make but im to embarrased.
Also I asked for a revised schedule that is not to where I am the only one working the busy days. Because I can handle it and they(the managers who like to sit on their A$$) dont go nuts. And its treated like ohh well your scheduled it... after you asked for a rotating one so you only work one of the stressed out days.
See I can handle it but why? I dont make enought to handle it. Ive paid my dues let some one else work at least one of the days.I am sick of giving giving giving and not getting one simple thing in return.I can kick a$$ and take everyones name and deal it with a smile. And they know this. Im sick of it.
Okay well sorry I went on about this way more then I should have. Thanks for letting me rant.It helps ,Also kicking butt on some Quake III helps to. Which I might just do that today.
Let me say this the only reason I stay there is because
1. I have insurance and I work day hours while my son is in school.
2.I have five years SENORITY there.
3.Im waiting for a call from Fords Motor Co to start work. Ive taken my test past and need to be called in. Which I know wont be to soon but im keeping my fingers crossed.
