Just a small bit of thanks
I would like to take this time to thank all of the people from the many countries around the world for your prayers and heart-fill wishes to us here in the United States.
I, as many of my fellow Americans have been deeply affected by the attacks, and to have your support has helped me personally to stand tall and stay strong.
For my Brit Buddies, what England did with the changing of the guard honored me beyond words.
Peace to all of you, and your support will help build a better world for all of us.
Thanks and God Bless.

I agree...a big "Thanks" goes out to all those who have shown their support.
Thank-you.

I couldn't deny the tear on my cheek as I saw the news footage of so many wonderful people all around the earth pausing to pay respect to our pain.
Born in 1954, my earliest memory of the world outside my family was the sheer terror we faced during the Cuban Missle Crisis in 1960. As a nine-year old I once again saw all the adults around me go into shock when JFK was murdered. I became a man near the end of Viet Nam and knew the fear of having to go to war. When the Gulf War began I felt the anxiety of wondering if my sons would be drafted--maybe die. And today, I feel all these things and more.
At the end of the news segment when a woman in Paris, France said, "Today, we are all Americans" that single tear was joined by many others.....
To all my family around the world, Thank-you for lifting even just a little of the pain.
Be Well,
Curt Sowulo

Other thoughtful gestures....
3 minutes of silence throughout Europe and in the UK parliament at noon 9/14...
200,000 at the Brandenburg Gate in memorial service for the victims...
Rescue workers from Greece and Israel and other countries that are well-trained for recovering from terrorist attacks...
Church bells ringing in Paris and Rome at noon 9/14...
Casino lights out along Las Vegas strip Friday night...
Political support from our allies in NATO, Russia, and other countries...
Agreement from Pakistan to allow us to use airspace among other things (the leaders there are risking a bunch considering the support Bin Laden has among the Pakistani people)...
And a very touching moment of silence in a soccer game in Tehran, Iran.
This event has clearly divided radical religious terrorists from the rest of the world. Even the Islamic faith is showing some division as Muslim leaders in America and other countries denounce the attacks.

I was impressed also by the response by everyone around the world. Usually, its just a "gee thats too bad" that would come across on some events...the response this time was amazing.

I too would like to thank everyone else in the world that has offered their support and prayers. Seeing all of it on tv was almost too much for me...
But before everyone starts bombing some country, think about what the people in that country will think about everyone...especially the US. We must make absolutely sure that no innocent people or countries are harmed. Just think...we bomb a country that doesn't want to give up a terrorist, and finally rid ourselves of the terrorist, but we are then left with the poor country that now doesn't like us...and may resort to terrorist actions to get back...
Think before you act.
