I love this OS, I'd buy it tomorrow in the shape it's in now. It can only get better from here. I do have one wish, I hope MS drops DOS compatibility altogether in Blackcomb...and it'd be nice to drop Win 3.x compatibility, too..but I think that's alot less likely.

To think, people want to take out the only good thing that Microsoft has successfully accomplished. I don't want DOS to go away.</STRONG>
    I love my command prompt!

You know the thing is I am so D@mned tired of the BS from ALL camps. Most of these people, be it Linux, MS, MACs, they all behave and react as if they own stock in the companies making the software...and hell that goes for the Intel/AMD crowd too.
I use win2k, why? because I like it and the reason I don't use a Mac is that I like to have this huge variety of software choices when I go shopping at the nearest CrapUSA. I also like the fact that I can walk into any comp store, pick the components I like and build a system I WANT. Why don't I use Linux? As I said in another thread, I bought and tried to install Mandrake 8 but it didn't recognize my RAID 0 config and I don't know squat about Linux so I didn't feel like screwing my system up, and trust me with my "expertise" in Mandrake that's exactly what would have happened. And for right now Linux is in the same boat as Macs, no software support.

Through quiet reflection and great dedication
    Master the art of karate
    Lo, we shall rise up
And then we'll make the bugger's eyes water
