Is it just me or are the packets getting processed a whole helluva lot faster lately??
what use to take me 8/10 hours or more, now is taking at max 5 and the average is closer to 4 on my primary home machine? Even my little dual pent pro200 server has speeded up dramatically.
Anybody else notice this?

No I don't think so. My connection's been the same about 2400 to 2700k bps at home and the wonderfully fast Full T1 ( sarcastic tone)at work. I don't know, I have like 11 active machines and they all seem lately to be processing the packages a bit faster.

I've had a few quick ones in the last few days, but the one i'm on on this machine is now up to 17 hours. At least the ones that take a week seem to have gone for good.

I think (ha, ha) the version 1.03f client processes faster, also many of the VEGF protein tasks seem short. My first VEGF took 3 hours. I still get some dismutase WU's that take over 24 hours on my so-so K6II-500

Have you also noticed though that you dont seem to be getting the number of hits that we once were ? For the couple weeks I think the most i've had was maybe 4 hits on one packet....
