    Mine is 125 by 77 pixels, which overall is 9625, less than the 10000 that 100 x 100 gives you.

    Of course, by that logic, an avatar 1 pixel wide by 9999 long would be acceptable...

    well, when i got mine, i was told 7k maximum.. mines 6, even though it's a bit on the jumbo size (not much - 115x119)

    Oh i get it...lol... i actually have to put the pulldown menu on CUSTOM for it to appear.

    If your avatar is too big in the file size dept, run it through <a href="http://www.boxtopsoft.com/supergif.html" target="_blank">SuperGIF</a>. It knocked the size of my animated avatar down by 60%.
